2009
October 12 - A new puppy arrives to be part of the Rhythm Ibizan Hound family! We named her Kizmet: "SunRumba Life is Your Game of Rhythm". She is a grand niece to our Nyra and comes from Robin Castillo of SunRumba sighthounds.
September 26 - Nyra did her ultrasound today and to everyone's surprise, we didn't see any babies! We now look forward to trying the breeding in the Springtime and expecting a fun litter before summertime.
September 23 - Happy 5th Birthday Nyra! She celebrated with her tiara and lotsa bones & cookies.
September 17 - Nyra visited the vet today to be palpated. In true "spitfire" style, she gave the vet a hard time figuring if she is pregnant. Always a challenge! :-) An ultrasound may be in the near future. The vet DID say she's showing some signs of being pregnant, so keep watching for updates.
September 16 - Another waist measurement shows 19"! HMMMM...
September 1-2 - Nyra's appetite is CRAZY huge! HMMMMM....... We measured her waist to be 16.5"
August 26-28 - Nyra is bred through a.i.! Needless to say it was quite the "rush", but it'll all be worth it! She'll go back in on Sept 17 to see if we have babies!
August 14 - Nyra goes into heat right on time. Now we count the days...
July 3 - Nyra competes in the IHCUS ASFA Specialty and receives second in the Field CH class over a top-ranked ASFA champion.
June 29 - Nyra flies back home deciding she wouldn't go into heat on her vacation in Arizona and will be happy to do it back in Michigan.
June 13 - Happy 4th Birthday Jaz!
February 8 - Nyra flies out to meet Bravo in Queen Creek, AZ for their fun rendez vous!
2008
December 18 - Nyra receives her CHIC (Canine Health Information Center) number. Look up her health records and find out more about CHIC here.
July 5 - Jaz earns his ASFA Field Championship during the IHCUS Specialty weekend.
